•       Any modifications to Karakoram products during installation may compromise structural integrity and void all warranties. Such modifications are performed at your own risk.

 

4. Safety & Load Capacity Warning

5. Backcountry & Avalanche Safety

WARNING: Splitboarding and backcountry snowboarding involve inherent risks including avalanche hazard, terrain hazards, extreme weather, and remote conditions that can result in serious injury or death. Karakoram products are tools — they do not reduce the inherent risks of backcountry travel.

 

You are solely responsible for:

•       Obtaining proper avalanche safety training and carrying appropriate rescue equipment (beacon, probe, shovel) when traveling in avalanche terrain

•       Assessing avalanche conditions and terrain before and during any backcountry excursion

•       Ensuring your Karakoram splitboard hardware, skins, crampons, and accessories are properly installed and in working order before entering the backcountry

•       Understanding that equipment failure in a backcountry environment may have life-threatening consequences — inspect all gear before every outing

•       Complying with all applicable regulations for the areas in which you ride, including resort rules, wilderness regulations, and permit requirements

 

Karakoram is not responsible for any injury, death, or damages arising from backcountry or avalanche-related incidents.
